The sales team at XL will be the first people you engage with. They will be your first point of contact to discuss the critical aspects of your project and what you need from a provider.
From the initial conversation, we will work with you to establish the size, layout, and how your building will fit in with the district plan requirements.
From here, the team will start looking at any external requirements that need to be investigated, including Geotech, fire, and stormwater.

Once you have finalised the design for your building project, our design and compliance team is engaged to start bringing your design to life. This is done by creating initial layouts and working through to full-concept renders.
Our design team is highly qualified in all levels of architectural and structural design and can produce high-level visuals to help you visualise how your new building will function.
It can often be underestimated how many external consultants are required on a commercial/industrial build. Our team engages with consultants that will be required to pull together any recommendations and reports to create a full set of structural and architectural plans.
Our team also has the ability to integrate a full office design into your build. We will meet with your team to determine your needs for an office fit-out and create a design that works for you and your staff as your business grows.

Project Support

Our Project Support team is the link between you and your chosen construction team. They will work with our suppliers to get the materials for your build constructed and delivered to your site.
We stock all the RHS steel, which we import directly from overseas mills; this is then manufactured specifically for your project here in New Zealand to ensure flexibility to suit your project design and timeline.
For onsite construction, our projects team work alongside the construction contractors to deliver your project. These install contractors can be from our network of contacts throughout NZ — or your preferred locals.
